Crab Dip


Ingredients:

-8 oz soft cream cheese

-2 tbsp butter

-1 small onion, chopped

-2 tbsp heavy cream

-1 ½ tbsp jarred chopped horseradish

-1 tsp old bay seasoning (I really do this to my taste - you may want more or less)

-8 oz shredded white cheddar cheese

-16 oz canned crab meat (I use jumbo lump), drained

-Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

1. In a large saute pan, on medium/high heat, add the butter and melt

2. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Reduce heat to low

3. Add cream cheese and cream. Stir until cream cheese is melted and ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat

4. Add the heavy cream, horseradish, old bay, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Mix together until well combined

5. Careful add the crab meat and mix well

6. Pour into a prepared baking dish and cook in the oven at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown

7. Serve with your favorite crackers or toast
