Chocolate Chip Banana Bread


Ingredients:

-½ cup of butter, softened

-2 eggs, beaten

-1 cup of sugar

-1 tsp vanilla

-1 ½ cups of all purpose flour

-½ tsp salt

-1 tsp baking soda

-1 cup of mashed bananas

-½ cup sour cream

-1 10 oz bag of Ghiradelli dark chocolate chips


Directions:

1. Spray 1 large loaf pan with Pam

2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

3. In a large bowl, cream with a blender the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla

4. Add the dry ingredients (flour salt, and baking soda) and mix

5. Add the bananas and sour cream - mix well

6. With a spatula, stir in the chocolate chips and transfer to the loaf pan

7. Cook for 1 hr

8. Remove from oven and cool for about 2 hours


Notes:

I love dark chocolate, but you can use milk chocolate instead. You may also add nuts, but I have friends with children who have allergies, so I’ve learned to leave them out.
